Facials are so expensive!Do any of the products out there really work?I don%26#039;t want to waste my money trying them all out. Somebody please help me...I hate looking in the mirror and seeing this!|||I used the Neutrogena line of pore-minimizing products. They worked great! You have to buy all three. I think the moisturizer was like $12, but the toner and face wash were about $6 a piece. It was totally worth it, they really did make my skin look better.|||You%26#039;ve gotta wash ur face regularly with a good cleanser (not the most expensive) and immediately after splash your face with cold water. this will tighten yiour pores. Then use a facial toner, which furtehr tightens your pores. Witch Hazel is a good brand. There, your pores should become smaller withi days and stay that way so long as you continue with the routine, Hope this helps xo|||Retin A - it literally forces all the crap out of your pores (so you initially break out worse from it) and brings an entirely new layer of skin to the surface. Its been miracle stuff for me. After fighting acne for 25 years, I finally have clear skin, most of my scars have faded, and my skin literally glows.|||heat, scrub, cold.
heat opens your pores, a $6 drug store pore shrinking scrub will clean them out and make them smaller, then cold shuts them.|||I agree with all these answers...but also wanted to add that it%26#039;s very important to use an exfoliant once a week. I find it made a big difference with my pores.

How long does it take for the pores to close on your body after you take a shower?
My boyfriend and his father have had this ongoing debate about taking a shower in the morning before he goes to work. His father says that if he continues to shower in the morning, he will get sick. Me personally, I say if u shower, and give yourself time to dry, then wrap up before you go outside, you will be alright. His father%26#039;s philosophy is that you should be able to shower at night, and get up and wash in the morning. I say if you wash up, you are still wetting your body, so you should just shower. And it makes no sense just to wash %26quot;the important parts%26quot;, because then, the rest of your body will still be dirty from the sweating that occurs at night. Please help and put a stop to this debate. Weblinks would be helpful for proof.
Thanks|||Closure time is totally dependent on the temperature of the room after taking a shower.. If one goes outside immediately, they close immediately, should the weather be cold.. In that instance we call those pores, goose bumps.|||Viruses and bactaeria cause illness not the temperature.

How can i get rid of clogged pores that are just bumps under the skin?
i wash my face morning and evening and they still don%26#039;t go away. i use murad and ive used proactive before too but nothing works.|||Never, ever, ever exfoliate your skin with a scrub when you have acne. This is the worst thing you can do to even more irritate your skin and spread bacteria.
Speaking from first hand experience, I use Holy Land Cosmetics line of products. After trying so many products out there for acne and acne scars, I never thought this would work, but it DID! It is the best thing I could have even done for my skin. I use the Alpha Beta and Retonoid line that they have and my skin has done a 180 on me. I have much younger, healthier skin and break out about 99% less. You can contact them at holyland-cosmetics.com and they ship whatever line you wish to use according to whatever you skin is.|||UNCLOG THEM DUHHHHHHH

What can I do to close the pores of my face?
I know it may sound silly, but the pores of my face are more open every time I check.. What can I do to close them? Any beauty tricks are wellcome.|||Try %26quot;Netrogena Pore Refining Cleanser%26quot; use it everyday for as long as you can. The trick is to be consistant. I really notice a difference in my pores when I use it! It%26#039;s cheap and you can find it at target, bartell drug stores...or any type of drug store! Good luck.

The best thing about these products is that these products are botanically based and they are formulatted without mineral oil, and animal products. these ingredients are not absorbed by our skin and we need to protect it form the sun. Did you know that mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin, the 1st is the sun. Also animal products come from rendering plants these plants pick all dead animal and dead animal parts (from meat houses, etc.) and they put it in a huge pot, squash everything and boils it, what ever comes to the top is the oil other companies use to elaborate thier products, gross I know...... that is why I use Arbonne....and their prices are very good and worth it. What are some ways to unclog facial pores?
My pores are very large, and always clogged. No matter what I do, they stay huge and clogged. It%26#039;s particularly bad on my nose and the upper parts of my cheeks.
I wash my face twice a day, keep my skin well-moisturized, use an apricot scrub every other day, and a clay mask once a week.
I have tried just about every product out there, and nothing seems to work.
What are some good at-home techniques for unclogging facial pores?|||Steam works very well for me. I just wave the steam from over the pasta pot when I%26#039;m cooking, or heat a pot of water, put a towel over my head and my face over the steam. Be VERY careful not to burn yourself. If you don%26#039;t mind wasting the eggs, a very wonderful home remedy which will also smooth out those pores is beaten egg yolk. Put it on your clean face, leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse it off. Don%26#039;t get it near your eyes, nostrils or mouth, though because the eggs are raw. Do this every day for a week and then two or three times a week after that.|||you can actually unclog your pores using steam. like for example, when you get out of the shower, just stay in there for 5 minutes longer and let the steam get to your pores.
other than that, everything you are doing seems great. just continue doing that, and if you wear makeup, make sure it says %26quot;non comedogenic%26quot; on the back, because that means it will not clog pores.|||I have the same problem, this is how I solved it.
Get Two wash cloths and one towel. Soak one wash cloth in HOT water and the other in COLD water
Turn the sink on with running HOT HOT HOT water.
Put your face down to the heat. NOT THE WATER, cause, its HOT.
Put a towel over your head so the heat from the water is trapped in the sink and heating up your face. This opens your pores.
Stay there for about 2-3 minutes.
Then remove your face from the heat, using a clean wash cloth with hot water on it, wash your face with the cloth (and just hot water no soap)
As soon as you%26#039;ve washed with the hot cloth use the wash cloth with cold water and put that on your face. That closes the pores.
My skin cleared up in a week.
Good Times and good luck|||Two things:
Fill the basin with very hot water and lean over it (carefully) with a clean face and cover your head and the basin head with a large towel to keep steam in. We did this as teens, and it worked! Once finished, scrub again and use an astringent.

2nd, Sally Hansen (I think) has a wonderful %26#039;blackhead%26#039; remover tool about $10 at the drugstore. You have to get the hang of it, but once you do its real easy to use. Pops them right out. (Yuck)|||Open pores then clean then close pores
