My skin looks dull, and I want to minimize my poors, get smooth clear radiant skin without using any harsh over the counter medications. Are there any natural remedies? I have very sensitive skin. Thank you.|||natural home remedies are the best :]
LEMON JUICE(OR LIME):
Take a lemon and cut it, apply the flesh to your face in circular motions. leave on overnight and wash in the morning. use sunscreen for your face, after using lemon your face is more vulnerable to the sun.
-this is my favorite!
EGG WHITE/YOLK MASK:
seperate the egg white from the yolk. apply the egg white to your face for 10-15 minutes. wash off. your skin ma become dry and you may want to use a moisturizer so take the egg yolk and put it on your face for the same amount of time. wash off.
OATMEAL MASK:
removes dirt and impurities leaving skin fresh and clean.
cook oatmeal and let it cool. apply to face for 10-15 minutes, wash off.
POTATO REMEDY:
cut open a potato and rub on face gently. you can wash off or leave over night.
ORANGE PEEL:
very effective. cut up an orange. take the peel and rub on face gently. wait for 10-15 minutes. you can eat the orange while waiting hehe :P
wash off.
TOMATO:
take tomato pulp and put on face. leave on for 1 hour and wash off.
i hope these help ! :D
remember, open your pores with hot water first. after washing off the %26quot;product%26quot; close your pores with cold water so no bacteria can get inside.
if you wear makeup check for non comedogenic makeup so it wont clog your pores.
take a shower everyday, keep your hair out of your face.
drink LOTS of water everyday to flush out the impurities.
after you work out take a shower.
and dont touch your face.
i use to have acne ALL over my face. and its slowly getting better. i dont have to pile on my foundation as much as i use too.
be confident and dont get stressed or that will cause more pimples.
stay beautiful :D|||The above response gives you a lot of good info. Before using any of them first figure out which is for oily, dry or combination skin. For my 59 yrs. soap and water is best.
Wash with near hot water and rinse with cold. For a moisturizer I always used baby lotion. Its gentle and light.
I%26#039;ve never worn a foundation. For an old gal, people say I have great skin. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day helps. Hydration is very important for good skin. Caffeine dehydrates so as little coffee and pop the better. Be careful w/the lemon juice, it can burn sensitive skin. Good Luck and kudos to you for starting early taking steps to take care of you skin.
