Is there anything I can do to permenately reduce my enlarged pores?

I read that microdermabrasion can swell the skin and make the pores look smaller temporarily, but I want a permenant solution. Does anyone know of anything like that?|||Biore makes a pore reducing cleanser, I%26#039;m not sure how permanent it is, but it works for me.|||There are two main factors that contribute to large pores: genetics and age. People who have skin that is naturally thick and oily tend to have larger pores. As people get older, too, sun damage and decreased skin elasticity can cause pores to dilate. The skin thickens, causing tiny cells to collect around the edge of the pores and make them look larger. Blackheads are also a big contributor to large pores. When the pore becomes clogged by dirt and bacteria, oil within the pore begins to accumulate, causing the pore鈥檚 diameter to expand.

At Home Methods You Can Do:

Mix almond meal with enough water to make a paste. Apply to pores for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then apply witch hazel or a solution of apple cider vinegar and water.

Bran and Grapefruit is also used to tightens large pores.

Mix table salt and buttermilk into a paste, apply on enlarged pores and massage well. Rinse with warm water.

If enlarged pores are due to blackheads stretching the entrance of the pore, then firstly remove blackheads using one of the above methods, then to contract pores, blend (one or your preferred mixture) of camphor, sage and / or thyme in a base of jojoba oil. Use as a compress or mix in with your moisturiser and apply to affected areas. Jojoba is easily absorbed into the skin and balances oil levels (which may assist in reducing blackheads as sebum production is regulated).

For products you can use :

Biore blackhead removal and skin wash. You can also reduce that oil blockage by buying something with Retin A, or tretinoin.

You can also:

Wash your face twice a day with a pore-refining cleanser.

Eliminate processed foods, especially those containing trans-fatty acids. Instead choose %26quot;good%26quot; fat such as extra virgin olive oil. (Get the lowdown on the whole good fat/bad fat thing at iVillage Diet %26amp; Fitness.)

Eat lots of fresh fish, vegetables and fruit, especially cantaloupe and berries.

For makeup coverage, dot on a light, oil-free foundation. Apply it only where you need it -- the sides of the nose, forehead and chin, for example.

Use matte powder or blotting sheets on those shiny areas.|||I had a dream that I was looking int he mirror and my skin was dripping off and my pores were huge.

It kinda scarred me for life... That was a freaky dream.

Which I%26#039;m sure answers your question. Sorry. Any time anyone mentions pores I think of that. Ugh.

To try to be at least a little helpful; It%26#039;s not permanent but I think if you wash your face with hot water, then cold, it makes them shrink. (It could be the other way around though.)|||if you cleanse tone and moisterise every morning and night and use a scub 1 or 2 times a week should help. if not go and get a consaltation with a beauty therapist and they should be able to advise you on the products to use to solve it.|||well...look hun you can use proactiv soluthion...this will help here i%26#039;ll give you the number you can call 1-800-235-6050...or you can go to a solom and get them off...but it will cost you A LOT of money$$$$$$$|||acutane.
