How can you prove egg shells have pores?

I know egg shells have pores but i need to prove it. I think just putting it in water will cause airbubbles.|||http://www.infovisual.info/02/062_en.htm鈥?/a>

in this website it does actually say that eggs are porous. When we wash eggs before incubation we always use warm water. this is because, the same as if you get in cold water, the egg kind of gasps and pulls water and bacteria inside causing the egg to fail.

This websites also state that if eggs are left next to strong odours they can pick up the smell and even flavour of that item due to the porous shell.|||You must put it in boiling water.

Also, look at shell beneath microspoe/magnifying glass. Cold water seeps in through pores and you shouldn%26#039;t wash dirty eggs with cold water. Hot water is good to wash dirty eggs because it cleans out the pores.
