How can i make my pores appear smaller?

The warm water opens your pores to get the dirt out and the cold water closes them to make them smaller so more dirt can%26#039;t get inside.|||I like to poor boiling hot water into a plugged sink and put my face over the steam. it opens them up, then i wash my face. and they appear smaller.
