I know u can use those nose strip to uncleanse pores. But don%26#039;t they strip a layer off your skin? Plus once the pores are unblocked, could%26#039;t dirt just go back in anyways since the pores are wide open?|||Pores on nose seem larger because skin is stretched right against very thin muscle layer over cartilage.
Pore strips do remove slight layer of skin along w/ black heads.
Yes, dirt will accumulate again in the pores. Exfoliation is best means of prevention because it clears away dead skin cells and allows oils to escape.
Blackheads = trapped oil that gets old %26amp; oxidizes to a dark color.
Clay masks also help absorb oils. Good ones: Beauty w/o Cruelty clay mask %26amp; Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - has benzoyl peroxide %26amp; clay; best used as a mask.|||no, pore strips don%26#039;t actually strip a layer off your skin if done correctly. it just helps you get rid of the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin.
and with regards to opened pores, you have to make sure to close them up after unclogging your pores :)
here%26#039;s my own home-made %26quot;pore strip%26quot; recipe. Its super cheap and way more effective that those expensive brands!only a few of my friends know this so consider yourself lucky..LOL! :)
what you%26#039;ll need:
1 pack of knoxx gelatin
onion skin paper (use the really thin kind for best results)
hot water
mix the gelatin in a few spoons of hot water until you get a paste like consistency like honey . dont get it to thick or too runny. you can reheat it if it starts to thicken. just put heater or a bowl of hot water under it.
then spread a thin layer unto the os paper and apply it to your face like a mask. or you can just cut out a portion of the paper to fit the areas you want to cover.
wait a few minutes to let it dry, and gently peel the mask starting at the bottom edges in an upward motion. and there you have it clean and unclogged pores!
(look closely at the peeled paper and you can see those icky whiteheads all over it like tiny spikes! LOL
make sure to wash your face thoroughly and cover it with a cold towel to close your pores. you can also apply some toner or cucumber juice to help tighten your pores.|||Yes dirt can go back in your pores. But I think that if you continually keep dirt out of your pores, they become less enlarged. Plus you can use pore-minimizing face washes. The pores on your nose are really big though. I have one pore on my nose that is HUGE! Maybe it%26#039;s because the skin is stretched out?|||after you use the nose strip, there are a bunch of prevention creams and stuff like that that you could use. they are everywhere. just look for them in any store like target or kmart or something|||That%26#039;s why you make a habit of cleaning those pores. Once a week with those strips or once a month with a facial, and some professional pore cleaning.
You can keep dirt from going back in by exfoliating several times a week with a gentle cleanser.
Also, if you can afford it, get a facial once a month.
If not, just use masks for your skin type (clay for oily, honey for dry, cucumber for combo, etc.) once or twice a week to take care of your skin.
