How do you get rid of large pores on your cheeks and your nose?

I have large pores on my cheeks and my nose, due to this I get zits and black heads, what product truly minimizes pores?|||Make sure you don%26#039;t abuse your skin by tanning which over time makes pores larger. Also, wear at least #15 sunscreen ever single day, even in the winter, and your skin will rejuvenate. Many moisturizers have it. Always rinse your face with cold water which closes pores, and use a non alcohol astringent. Thayer%26#039;s is excellent, look for it in the health food store. You should go for a professional facial and get advice on caring for your skin, and cleansing it properly. Once you get past the zit and black head stage you might be surprised to discover your skin is actually pretty good since usually people who break out have more oil, and are not prone to wrinkling.|||She%26#039;s right! |||You could try a pore-refining mask. I%26#039;ve seen one from Biore. Also, St. Ive%26#039;s scrubs help my skin a lot, I like the %26quot;invigorating%26quot; or the %26quot;acne fighting%26quot; ones. They even have some for sensitive skin.|||I%26#039;ve just answered this exact same question a little further down the board, but here goes again!

You can%26#039;t get rid of your pores. They are a part of your skin. I expect you%26#039;re asking how to get rid of blackheads, which are blocked pores.

You can get rid of blackheads temporarily, though they will be back within about 3-5 days and it%26#039;s impossible to stop them permanently. Here are a few ways to get rid of them:

1. Have a good facial and ask for extractions

2. Steam your face over a bowl of boiling water; afterwards you can gently squeeze the blackheads out with a tissue

3. Once a week, use a mud-type facial mask; some people think this helps your pores stay unclogged

4. You can try using pore-cleansing strips such as Biore if you like, but I%26#039;ve never found them to be much good

5. Use a really good gentle cleanser, non-astringent toner, and facial oil to counteract greasiness (I know that it sounds wrong to use a facial oil if you have greasy skin, but it really does work -- the oil soothes your skin and stops it producing excess oil, which causes blackheads). The best I%26#039;ve found for getting rid of blackheads is the range by Dr Hauschka. I%26#039;ve posted a link below.
