What is the best foundation to cover large pores?

I want to know if mineral foundations work the best or if any other kinds work better. I saw a commercial for a foundation and I can%26#039;t remember what brand it was, but in the commercial, it covered the holes in a golf ball to show how good it was. Does anyone know what kind that was?|||I am a makeup artist.

I have the same problem.

Mineral foundation does no difference in helping to minimize pores, nor does it go on better, stay longer, or cover better. All it is is foundation made from minerals instead of chemicals, and it STILL can break people out and cause serious acne.

Use a primer before applying foundation. It fills in the holes, and makes the skin smoother. Try Rimmel%26#039;s primer, I think its about $5.

I used to use Mac%26#039;s Studio Fix fluid with Studio Fix powder on top, and that covers very nicely, but can be slightly heavy, unless you apply with the 187 and do a light dusting of powder.

For the winter I switched to Mac%26#039;s Full Coverage (or try Dermablend), which makes you totally flawless cause it covers everything....however, it can be heavy for some people. I only need a little dab of the foundation and it covers my entire face. It%26#039;s good for winter, but not really for summer or hot weather, and I needed something lighter feeling with the same coverage.

Now, I just switched over to the Studio Sculpt, and I can%26#039;t say enough about this foundation! It%26#039;s absolutely amazing! It%26#039;s so LIGHT feeling, it%26#039;s a gel foundation, feels so good on the skin, hydrates, doesn%26#039;t get cakey, doesn%26#039;t travel, won%26#039;t transfer, stays put all day, and covers almost as good as Mac%26#039;s Full Coverage. I use a little bit of Studio Fix powder on top and I can%26#039;t see a single pore when I look in my magnifying mirror!

I highly doubt you will find a good drugstore brand foundation that will cover well. I always think it%26#039;s best to invest in a very good foundation, and things like eyeliner, lipstick and blushes can be bought at drugstores.

Hope this helps!|||MAC Studio Fix Fluid is awesome for covering large pores.

But I can%26#039;t wear it because there isn%26#039;t a colour light enough. :(

You could also look at Revlon Colourstay Liquid Foundation - it%26#039;s basically the same thing, but cheaper :)

%26lt;3|||Loreal%26#039;s new range: Sensual Cement.|||bare minerals. i love it
